The most recent advancement in hair transplantation technology is Sapphire FUE (follicular unit extraction). Using a micromotor, hair grafts are taken from the donor area and transplanted to the desired location by opening and transplanting the channels with a sapphire pen. The micro motor makes it possible to take many more grafts at once. Punches that are attached to the end of the micro motor are used to remove grafts. Punches of 0.85-0.90 mm in diameter are used. After that, a Sapphire pen is used to open channels in the desired area in the natural direction of the hair. The sapphire pen’s smoother and thinner channels help the recovery time after the operation progress much more quickly.
Exactly why Sapphire FUE?
• “FUT” hair transplantation leaves no linear trace behind. You can wear your hair either long or short.
• It leaves the donor area with few scars.
• Quick recovery in the planting area because Sapphire-opened channels cause significantly less damage.
It allows for more natural and regular planting.
